APPOINTMENT NOTICE
Dr. Francine Gervais, Vice-President, Research & Development.

Dr. Louis R. Lamontagne, President & CEO of Neurochem Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Francine Gervais to the position of Vice-President, Research and Development.

Dr. Gervais brings broad research expertise to Neurochem. She comes to Neurochem with 15 years of experience on amyloid-related research as an Associate Professor with the Department of Experimental Medicine at McGill University with joint appointments at the Department of Microbiology & Immunology and the McGill Centre for the Studies on Age and Aging. Dr. Gervais is a well-known and respected scientist for her work in the area of mechanisms controlling amyloid deposition, Neurochem’s key technology. Amyloid deposits are known to be associated with such diseases as Alzheimer’s and adult-onset diabetes (Type II).

Neurochem is a Canadian bio-pharmaceutical company working in concert with financial and industry partners to synthesize, develop and market breakthrough human health therapeutics.
